doesn't seem to - just shows lo0 with a local loopback address, no enet 
interface

should be DHCP - at least that's what the install instructions say is the 
default, nwam seems to be enabled

no router seen

the file doesn't exist (that seems sort of funny)

sort of seems like it might be a driver issue or some kind of startup issue - 
there doesn't seem to be any devices of the form /dev/enet
