Ok guys, thanx a lot for your advice. After doing some reading and googleing I've also drawn the same conclusion.
Stripe of mirrors is the best way to go. The project I'm working on, "Cypour SAN" (hehe) is gonna go like this. 4 Solaris boxes, each with a raidz pool, shared over iscsi, creating 4 iSCSI targets for the "SANHead" to connect to. Then, on the "SANHead",Two mirrors created Mirror1 (target1, target2), Mirror2 (target3, target4) And finally a stripe of Mirror1, Mirror2 Wish me luck... -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
