They're three different things.

Mostly they don't conflict.

For Indiana, I think you'd be better off sticking with the IPS repositories,
and leaving sunfreeware and blastwave alone for now.

Maybe blastwave has some IPS packages too (I thought I heard something
about that), but I really don't think they'd be fetchable with pkg-get, which
is a tool and catalog wrapped around the old SVR4 pkgadd program (to
make it easier, take care of dependencies, and look a lot like Debian apt-get).

AFAIK, Indiana can handle SVR4 packages as well as its new IPS packages.  But
if you can keep it simple by avoiding that, and still get what you want, you 
might
be better off.

Now...how much did I get wrong, never having installed Indiana...?
