i am interested in installing opensolaris, but before installing i try to geht
some answers to my questions. the hardware question is in another thread
answered. i take a quick look on solaris. but i miss something. the dd program
seems to be different to linux. top i did not found. and when i try to insall
software it is not much in the package manager. but this is not a problem.
can anybody tell me how it is with reading other file systems? now i use
reiserfs on my system? woud it work? can i access directly to an windows share
over network? or must i install some software for this?
