Yes, I saw the bug description and its cause. The thing is, installer is 32 bit only, so this will impact ALL systems and has potential to corrupt existing data. The typical space given to a new OS installation is much larger than 4GB anyways, so in practically all cases users will see a corruption (except when dedicating whole disk - perhaps).
