Experiencing the exact same issue , I can type into the console with no input visible, pressing enter sometimes causes the input to execute , sometimes nothing happens Additionally the prompt (user at server) usually shows in small is showing in caps, once it showed in smallcase but typing into it I got an "illegal division by zero at -e line 1 <> line1 and it switched back to (USER at SERVER)
Also not sure if its related but I can't login via ssh either, getting a PTY allocation request failed on channel 0 Looking into the logs i'm seeing a /dev/ptmx : permission denied error followed by a session_pty_req: session 0 alloc failed (FWIW Just did an upgrade from 2009.06 to snv 125 , was hoping to resolve cifs/network issues) -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
