This is the wrong direction.... Somewhere around build 130 will be the last release of SXCE. I went through the pain and anguish of moving my main server, running SXCE/DE since build 49, to OSOL. I was personally happier with SXCE than OSOL, but that's the way things are going.
As far as I know, there is no easy way to move from OSOL to SXCE or visa versa. After a painful transition, I still had to revert some of OSOL'ism back to the SXCE way to get multiple NICS working and allow rsync backups from another host. I never did get XFCE working again, some contribution packages (specifically apcups) I had to rebuild so they didn't core dump or panic the system. Gary -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
