Thank you, Gary. Glad to know someone else had gone through this already. The gist of my question remains, though: Rather than downloading the current development source code base and compile it ourselves, is there any intermediate binary releases for OpenSolaris before the next major release 2010/xx becomes available, similar in spirit to SXCE, which are releases that are semi-tested?
