Sounds very impressive! But seriously and not to trivialize isn't this somewhat 
similar in concept to the systyem restore points created in MS OS?

There you have the ability albeit not always successfully to roll it back by 
taking a snapshot of the system state....

I am coming from a primarily MS Background initially and more recently Cisco. I 
have been looking for something more and have been trying to teach myself Linux 
(Centos/Red Hat) and Solaris/Opensolaris, because I think it is a much more 
dynamic way to go and I need the exposure to Unix.

What are the best/most readable books out there on this? Of course as I have 
learned from both the above, especially Cisco CLI, nothing beats hands on! 
Thanks and thnk you all for putting up with my newbie questions and blundering!

Are there a lot of people using opensolaris on the desktop at work and or home 
environments?
