it didnot work either !...
 pkginfo -l | grep vlc  command didnot report any thing !
and :
# pkgrm CSWvlc
pkgrm: ERROR: no package associated with <CSWvlc>

now i can't get the new pkg and i can't use the old one... great..!
isn't there any streaming server other than VLC?
