That worked.

Here's what I get when I run devfsadm (not including the warnings about the 
root user):

pseudo-device: devinfo0
devinfo0 is /pseudo/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
xsvc0 at root
xsvc0 is /xsvc

After the last line I get a line of corrup text.  The corrupted text is the 
same every time.

I did try one other thing which was to disable xsvc0 from being loaded as you 
instructed in previous messages.

I tried that and the text corruption is the same, it happens right after 
devinfo0 is /pseudo/[EMAIL PROTECTED], except this time, the square are green 
instead of white/grey color.  Strange.

Looks like we narrowed it down to something devfsadm is doing.  Let me know 
what I can do to further debug devfsadm.
