Hi Valerion,

You are getting a correct fdisk error.
If you want to modify something, you need to unmount the slice and then make 
changes.

Note that this is a bit different from windows. You have partitions and then 
slices in Solaris. What LU requires is a free slice big enough to hold the 
root. 

I would suggest, you make a new slice from the existing Solaris partition and 
allocate this new unused slice as the alternate boot environment for LU.
