Did you ever figure out how to get this working?

I have an Athlon64 system with an 80GB SATA hard drive. The first partition is
~20GB set aside for Solaris, the second partition is 23GB with Ubuntu, the
third is ~8GB set aside for FreeBSD, and the rest is an extended partition with
my Linux swap partition and a partition for the /home directory in Ubuntu.

I've tried to install Nexenta Alpha7, SECE 5/07, SECE 9/07, and the Indian
preview. Nexenta wouldn't run, the two SECE's didn't detect my paritions at
all and wanted to take the whole disk for itself. I got excited with Indiana
because it did seem to detect the partitions, but it didn't detect the Solaris
ID (be) I had set and still wanted to format the entire disk. I have tried
partition ID 82 as well before, and it didn't make any difference.

I'd like to familiarize myself Solaris, but I don't have the RAM to run two
OS's at once in VMWare. Has anyone figured out how to deal with this issue?
