That's the one that shares a keycap with "pause", right?  It doesn't seem to be 
working.  It's as if the computer isn't responding to the keyboard at all: the 
boot screen says "keyboard present", but "break" does nothing, the lock keys 
don't toggle their respective lights (should they?), and no other key produces 
any response (should it?).

Unless someone put the wrong faceplate and label on the drive, it's a DVD-ROM.
