Having rpool mirrored on a second disk seemed to be the cause of the "unknown external error".
Having detached the second disk, and checking that a new BE will activate, I've tried several times to update to b142, but all attempts fail with this sort of message: g...@opensolaris_b134:/opt$ pfexec ./onu.sh -Ot on-nightly-142.i386 -u http://localhost:13000 PHASE ACTIONS Removal Phase 54/54 Creating Plan | Errors were encountered while attempting to retrieve package or file data for the requested operation. Details follow: http protocol error: code: 404 reason: Not Found URL: 'http://localhost:13000/manifest/0/system%2flibrary%2fstorage%2flibmpscsi_v...@0.5.11%2c5.11-0.142%3a20100613t215820z'. (happened 4 times) pkg -R /tmp/onu.wGaive image-update failed: exit code 1 g...@opensolaris_b134:/opt$ It seems weird to me that the first attempt got through to the end of the update OK, but all later attempts founder on "Not found" The md5 checksum of the on-nightly-142.i386.tar.bz2 is correct. Any ideas ? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org
