I've now run my current b134 (login to Gnome works fine) and got its Xorg.0.log file. Compared to the one I got from onnv-build:onnv_142 (which crashes and then reboots when Gnome login is attempted) there are only 2 trivial differences, the name of the Current Operating System and the date/time the file was generated. Otherwise they are identical and appear to end normally after a few lines about the keyboard and the mouse.
So my install of b134 which appears to be fully functional also generates the line that alanc identified as significant: (EE) R128(0); No DFP detected. The log file is verbose and appears to identify a lot of specifics about the monitor (Dell 1907FP) This log file doesn't seem to help - are there others generated at login that I should work through ? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org
