hello,
i'm trying to record audio from loopback device, and got this error:
ultra20-henry% ossrecord -s48000 -b16 -c2 -d /dev/oss/vmix0/loop0 test.wav
/dev/oss/vmix0/loop0: I/O error

The machine is a Sun Ultra 20 with Solaris 10 8/07.
OSS is build 1006 (but i gave a try at build1008)

Before installing OSS drivers, i used sun driver, and i was able to record with
"stdaudio -r". The pitfall is that audio level is very small, so the choice of
OSS driver seem to be a good choice !
So the hardware is correct, the problem seems to be software only!

I can play audio without problem, and even is ossrecord is broken, the file
test.wav contains valid data when i play it.

I first posted my problem on 4front-tech forums, but i suspect a problem
related to the driver, so i need help to understand why only ossrecord is
broken, and what kind of tools can i use to investigate?

thanks in advance for help,

gerard
