Can you check with headphones each of the output ports?  Perhaps your 
have a bad connection?  Everything else looks good, and I find it hard 
to believe you don't hear *anything* at all.

The other thing you could is try turning on the monitor gain (say 
"mixerctl -c monitor-gain -w 75") and plug in a microphone.  If you 
can't hear your microphone on the speakers, then it is probably a bum 
set of speakers or bum hardware.  (Monitor gain support requires really 
no interaction from the driver, except the initial programming to set it 
up.)
