The green jack should be the preferred port. But there is probably one 
in the front and one in the back. Did you try them both?

2009.06 is standard OpenSolaris without Boomer.... that's a bit strange.

Build 123 of course has Boomer.

Make sure you *do* select the OSSv4 plugin when using build 123.

You can also test with "audiotest" (a program that is in build 115 and 
later. It doesn't work with older releases.)
