Hi Garrett and Yangrong
So if I plug headphones into the green jack it works, but only if I
select the Sun Audio in the volume control ( bottom right hand of gnome
desktop ), nothing else works though only the headset in the green jack.
If I select OSS v4 then nothing at all works ( even the green jack ).

So I reinstalled 2009.06 ( does not work ), and upgraded to opensolaris
build 123, still the same, so suspect that perhaps my hardware busted
perhaps.

thanks for the help.
Enda
