Hmmm... I personally think this area is too large to be covered by the OpenSSL
project's core team itself. Because there are a lot of such programs which
use SSLeay/OpenSSL. So, IMHO it's not reasonable to try to maintain and
develop such applications by us directly. But what we perhaps can do is to
provide the environment for others. For instance the KDE project provides the
CVS tree for other KDE-application developers. We could at least create an
openssl-apps sub-repository where the authors of the various SSL-related
applications can host their stuff.
