Thanks for the news.
I'm not overly concerned with the packages that Apple chooses to preinstall
in OS X so long as it is relatively easy to run the installers for Developer
Tools, OpenSSL and perl CPAN. Probably most users won't need to access the
Unix shell via the Terminal application.
