You should be OK with DJGPP because it evades all the yucky Win16 restrictions. The "true" Win16 version IIRC used an ancient version of VC++ (1.52?). I tried compiling SSLeay (yes SSLeay it was *that* long ago) with this ages ago and it sort of worked with a horribly broken pseudo console. The MS-DOS version choked saying it had run out of memory. I'd be very surprised if the Win16 version could be made to work without major surgery. Steve. -- Dr Stephen N.
