We have the start of some guidelines here: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Governance/Proposed/APIGuidelines I think it would be very useful if those who are interested in helping out add info to that wiki from the perspective of the project they work on and comment (inline) where what is already there is inconsistent with what they do. User input too as to what they want would be useful. That would give us something much more concrete to discuss and debate rather than just a common desire to have consistency across our APIs.
