The Horizon plugin for the app catalog[1] should have no problem
staying in step with Horizon. Ultimately our intention is to make
this plugin so desirable it becomes a native part of Horizon so
enabling in a cloud becomes as simple as a config switch. We're not
ready for that yet of course, so please don't let that comment
distract the thread :) I am looking forward to discussing this with
more people in Austin though!

Regardless, we will work with you to make sure our efforts proceed to
be tightly coupled to Horizon. This approach makes the most sense to
me.
