[opensuse] Configuring Xorg for my monitor

I have a slightly obscure HP monitor that is apparently not listed in 
the dabatase Suse uses for configuring X. Also, my preferred mode is not 
listed as a VESA mode in SaX2, so I can't choose it manually. My 
preferred mode is 1152 x 864 at 32 bbp, 85Hz. Is there any way I can get 
SaX2 / Xorg to list the refresh rates that my monitor supports at a 
given resolution, in the same way that Windows does? If not, how can I 
add the required information to Suse to allow me to select this video 
mode? The closest mode I can get in Suse is as above except 75Hz, which 
is a bit annoying when I'm used to 85Hz in Windows. My monitor is an 19 
inch HP, model number A4575A.
