I have been up on 10.0 for some time and things have
been great. Yesterday I noticed my nice pretty 3D
screensaver slowed to a crawl. I checked in Sax and
noticed the Activate 3D check box was grayed out. I
checked in xorg.conf and seen it was loading the
"nvidia" driver. I then checked the Xorg.1.conf and
seen these 2 lines:
(II) NVIDIA(0): NVIDIA 3D Acceleration Architecture
Initialized
(II) NVIDIA(0): Using the NVIDIA 2D acceleration
architecture
Any ideas how to get 3d back? Thanks in advance,
