Hm, I should've guessed as much. However, what I did: I installed the
amaroK-arts package, as well as amaroK-gstreamer and amarok-xine, now,
amarok-xine just runs through the playlist, amarok-arts complains about
no arts, and arts is installed (checked) but I cannot choose arts in
control panel -> sound and multimedia -> Sound system, and
amarok-gstreamer will sometimes cause amaroK to stop responding.
Starting artsd from the command line spawns an infinte amount of
"starting artsd"-like messages and it seems to be looping forever.C
hoosing the arts enginge does not work after starting artsd.
