I do not think xorg was updated at that time. And Xorg / Xgl seem to be running. Has there been a new Xorg/Xgl in the last week? This is release 6. I have not made the switch to release 7. A does seem to be starting as usual. When I log in with kdm, I get a new grey screen, and the mouse is a blue hour glass. After a second this ends and I get a new kdm login.
