Hi, it seems I got a (pretty strange) problem with my CD/DVD Burner. If I look into the hardware-information of YAST the drive is identified as DVD_RW_IDE1108 and all seems ok. The strange problem, now, is that I can only read CDs but no DVDs. Before I installed SUSE 10.2 (I had a 10.1 installed back then) all worked perfectly well. This whole problem turns out to be pretty nasty for I backuped about 30 GB of data on several DVDs before I installed 10.2 (because it was time to clean up the whole mess on my HD I decided that a new, fresh and nice installation would be the perfect time to do some additional cleaning as well.) Now, I cannot access ANY DVD anymore(though I can access these DVDs on other PCs, I checked this already.)
