That's what I thought, but verifying that I wasn't missing some other
detail. Excellent review of the redirection logic in "boot", BTW...I use
bash all the time and am "reasonably good" with shell scripts, but when it
gets into lesser used features, I have to consult references.
So do I...and I've been using Unix since 1983.
