This is a bit more complicated then adding an application because the
LAN driver has to be in the initrd which is part of the base system.

So we will have to generate a new version of the base system.

I have already updated the tg3 driver which did not seem to give any
problems compiling and Martin is going to release a new base package
containing the driver soon.
