Sorry in andvance if this creates a new thread. I was not sure how to reply
to your answer in email. I did not get a new message in gmail. I only saw
your post in Nabble.
Here is what I did to change the time on the server. Let me know if it was
correct. I logged into the server, clicked on the clock in the top right
corner. The time and date settings window popped up. I clicked on the
Padlock that says click to make changes. I typed in my pasword and then
clicked on the button to the right of Time Zone: and selected
America/New_York. For Configuration I set it at: Keep synchronized with
Internet Servers. For Time servers, I selected: ntp0.cornell.edu (New York,
USA). I then clicked close and then powered the server down and then powered
it back up.
In the OTC manager, I setup a client to recieve the Desktop, RDP, and
Xterminal. I powered up a Dell laptop and got the client. I then opened
Xterminal in the client and typed "date" and it was showing the timezone as
4 hours ahead of my time. I then looked at the /etc/timezone file and it
said "Germany/Berlin"
