Hi chris,
It is a hardware issue.
Which openthinclient are you using? 1.0 appliance maybe?
Which hardware thin clients are you using? If they are not on the
openthinclient hardware compatibility page, I think you will need to
re-compile kernel of the otc client and adding new kernel modules for your
special hardware.
