Hi @firebitsbr thank you for your fast answer! In Step 1 when killing openvassd and openvasmd the process was not found, but i end the other processes and init.
In Step 2, i got some errors: bash: openvas-scap-sync: command not found... bash: openvas-cert-sync: command not found... It seems we do not have all the packages installed? I thought yum install openvas installs all necessary from Atomicorp repository. When running openvassd now i get: Loading the plugins... 357 (out of 33836)base gpgme-Message: Setting GnuPG homedir to '/etc/openvas/gnupg' base gpgme-Message: Using OpenPGP engine version '2.0.22' Loading the plugins... 4692 (out of 33836)Segmentation fault (core dumped) By running the GSA in browser, i got the same "Login failed. OMP service is down." error. thx 2014/1/22 Mauro Risonho de Paula Assumpção <[email protected]> > Step 1 > > # killall openvassd > # killall openvasmd > # killall openvasad > # killall gsad > # init 6 > > Step 2 > > # openvas-nvt-sync > # openvas-scap-sync > # openvas-cert-sync > # openvasmd --rebuild > # openvassd > # openvasmd > # openvasad > # gasd --http-only > > Open browser > > firefox http://ip > > @firebitsbr > Em 21/01/2014 23:12, "Diego Galvez" <[email protected]> escreveu: > >> Hi, >> >> i just installed openvas on Fedora 19 in a 8GB RAM VM.
