Granting Observers permissions via Permission in the Task Detail view, is what I was looking for. It applies the permission to view the task to the user, same as it did using the option field Observers in OpenVAS-6 or via omp.
But I don't get it working for Notes and Overrides, The Observer role has the "get_notes" and "get_overrides" permission by default already, so there may be no need to add a specific permission, but.even when adding the permission for a specific Override or Notes to that user, this Observer user does not see any notes or permissions. 20.10.2014----12:48:[email protected] wrote on 17.10.2014 23:27:11: > From: Matthew Mundell <matthew [email protected]>> To: Helmut Koers <HK [email protected]>, > Cc: [email protected] <openvas-discu [email protected]>> Date: 17.10.2014 22:27> Subject: Re: [Openvas-discuss] Observers and Overrides> Sent by: matthe [email protected]> > > That did it... tasks are visible now, but the user does still not see any > > applied notes and overrides. > > Yes, that is how it works currently. > > > > > Anyone who can help here? > > This is not yet properly catered for.
