The openvasmd --rebuild just doesn’t seem to want to work. I think if I can
rebuild that…I think it would fix itself. :/

Well, I tried to do the --rebuild but it just sits there and doesn’t do
anything. This was after the spinning started. I was trying to try and create
the db again in case something got messed up.

Any reason this would happen or how I can correct it? Perhaps this would solve
my issue.

Is the redis server configured correctly and selinux disabled? What is output
of check-openvas-setup script?

I have worked with you before…but anywhere I can check to see why when I click
on the start task for a scan…all it does is spin?
I reinstalled thinking that might help but not sure why it’s not kicking the
scans off correctly. I overloaded the server when I first set it up and ever
since…it hasn’t been able to successfully do a scan again. :/
