I have made a solution for debian (sent this also to [email protected]): 1. create a new openvassd.conf with this command as root: openvassd -s > /etc/openvas/openvassd.conf 2. edit openvassd.conf change kb_location=/tmp/redis.socket to kb_location=/var/run/redis/redis.sock
3. edit /etc/redis/redis.conf and uncomment the following lines: unixsocket /var/run/redis/redis.sock unixsocketperm 700 4. stop and start the following processes: openvas-scanner openvas-manager redis-server 5. Run openvas-check-setup again Sorry for my wrong post before!
