New Windows install on a new machine.
New OVPN install too, obviously.
I'm using old config files, but I don't think the config file is part of the
problem.
The error I keep getting in the logs, follows. [Repeats endlessly.]
---
Wed Feb 24 13:13:53 2016 TCP: connect to [AF_INET]xx.xx.xx.151:1194 failed,
will try again in 5 seconds: The system tried to join a drive to a directory on
a joined drive.

Uninstall of the tap adapter and/or openvpn and re-install doesn't fix.
[My key's passphrase protected and it asks for the PassPh, so I'm 99% sure the
keys and certs are good.]
Made sure the client is running as admin [though the symptoms don't indicate
this is the problem, I don't think.]
I'm fairly lost. Googlefoo doesn't turn up anything, and I don't recall
anything recent on the list that rings a bell.
Suggestions please?
[And please don't suggest TUN instead of TAP. Not an option. Same with TCP etc.]
config file is as follows, just in case. [sanitized a bit]
