For the record, if you had 00:03:07:12:34:56 mac address in older OpenWRT
builds this strongly suggests OTP is messed up on your device in the first
place. I don't know if anything can be really done with this.
What do mean by "both versions of firmware"? The 2 branches (main and
10.1) that are available on Kalle Valo's github or did you test something
else?
I wonder if firmware and otp binaries found on the original TP-Link Archer
C7 v2 software would work? Did you try that?
