Yes, I am the person who reported 6 Mbps. I measured this by setting up an
FTP server and ad-hoc network with the client and server connected to a
TP-link router each. The rate was about 4 Mb/s on the air. I checked the
RX rate on the receiver which reported 6 Mbps.
I also checked using iw, which reported the same rate.
My thinking is that somehow the OTP is not read correctly, and hence not
validated correctly.
The firmware that I reflashed was the one found on TP-Link website. It
does not have a separate OTP file. It is a single file.
