AFAIK it is due to a legal minefield and concerns by the proprietary WiFi
driver/hardware manufacturers that they are not seen as facilitating
detonations on this field. 1-11 are pretty much legal everywhere and so
there is less risk, and it may be a PITA but copy and pasting commands is
not that much trouble for those of us who can use openwrt. Just save the
modded files once somewhere and incorporate in a custom build is what I
do.
