 the patch, to check if problem persist with later versions. And then adapt
 the patch to build again Barrier Braker and trunk, and check again if the
 problem is gone. Finally you should send the patch to the mailing list.

 Testing is important in '''latest versions''', because they are the ones
 which accept patches by the Openwrt Developer team. I would send a patch
 but I didn't notice the USB problem, nor have a HG553 device to test this
 stuff.
