with the attached patch i've successfully built a 8M firmware that works
on my board. with the increased space for the kernel the 4M version also
shows up in the output.
there's just one thing i don't understand: the size of the firmware .bin
file. it's not exactly 7744k that is specified in the Makefile (it's
smaller). is that a symptom of some problem, or is that normal? i've
randomly looked at the 1043 fw file and that has a round size.
