Even with one antenna, 802.11n can achieve higher data rates than the
54Mbit/s max for 802.11g.

802.11n HT20 modes with one antenna allow for up to max 150Mbit/s
theoretical data rate.  That is why TP-Link advertises these products as
capable of 150Mbit/s.  Dual antennas are required for the HT40 modes for
advertised 300Mbit/s data rates.

Also, it's important to point out these advertised rates of 150 or
300MBit/s will never occur in real life (noise, less than perfect signal
quality, protocol overhead, etc).
