Hi Oliver, 1. In the past there was a (generic, not packaged) distribution split into 6 distinct tarballs:
openxpki: core for server part openxpki-client: base class for actual clients openxpki-i18n: internationalization of the user interface openxpki-client-html-mason: web interface to local OpenXPKI daemon openxpki-client-scep: set of SCEP tools openxpki-deployment: set or deployment tools Reading http://openxpki.readthedocs.org/en/latest/quickstart.html, does it mean that with ver.0.11.3.1 there is a single tarball covering all of the above? 2. More specifically, in the section "Starting from scratch" do you mean that cd openxpki/core/server perl Makefile.PL make installs all the tools listed above? If not, how the rest of the tools should be installed (let us put debian and ubuntu packages aside for a while)? 3. As you say "make sure that the en_US.utf8 locale is installed", does it mean that i18n of the GUI is no longer supported by the generic tarball of ver.0.11.3.1? 4. As you say "it is crucial that you have the mysql server installed", does it mean that other databases are no longer supported?
