On line 162 (of the original code) you set the control mode of the
injection well to be BHP (bottom-hole pressure). If I understand you
correctly, you also want to have a RESV (reservoir rate) constraint.
I think you must append_well_controls() with type=RESERVOIR_RATE.
Also make sure you have a version after opm/opm-core#396 was merged.
