One thing that I would like to do in Pax JDBC is to be compliant with 
blueprint (in addition of ConfigAdmin).
Thanks to that we would be able to deal with "old" and "new" style 
datasource service in Karaf.

Another thing I saw is the encryption support added in Pax JDBC 0.8.0. It 
doesn't seem to work "out of the box", even when the jasypt service is 
there. It's maybe just a documentation issue, but I would like to 
investigate a little.

There's no rush for that.

No objection for a 0.10.0 release.

On the other hand, I think we can consider 1.0.0 release after a 0.11.0.
