Adding device information (manufacture/device-type etc.) in MUD file provides visibility in network, in addition to policy.
Also, besides ACL's, I believe it would also make sense to convey bandwidth limitation information via MUD's (my Zigbee hub does not need the full available bandwidth, especially not when it is compromised) and maybe even time constraints (only allow it to interact with the internet during office hours, or something like that).
