Now I must disagree with this.  Although I am on 
call every annoying day of the year it is so rare
that I have database issues its not even funny.
I think nothing of leaving for the weekend.  At the
very least I can talk someone though something, even
if I am at the top of a mountain.  Calls have
to wait while I am on the wall at Smith Rock though 
(or my climbing partner is on the wall).
